{"id":118,"date":"2015-09-10T11:37:02","date_gmt":"2015-09-10T11:37:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/propilots.org\/?page_id=118"},"modified":"2015-09-10T11:37:02","modified_gmt":"2015-09-10T11:37:02","slug":"trustee-meeting-march-2-2011","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/propilots.org\/index.php\/trustee-meeting-march-2-2011\/","title":{"rendered":"Trustee Meeting, March 2, 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"page_content\">\n<p>The meeting was held in the Huntington Bank \/ Wolfe Industries Office following the regularly scheduled monthly association meeting.<br \/>\nThe meeting was convened by Roy Cottrill who acted as chair.<br \/>\nRobert Brown was asked to take minutes.<br \/>\nA quorum was established.<\/p>\n<div class=\"inner-table\">\n<hr>\n<ul class=\"meeting_list21\">\n<li><strong>Present<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Ken Ramos<br \/>\nTom Lusch<br \/>\nGreg Casagrande<br \/>\nJim Williams<br \/>\nRobert Brown<br \/>\nRoy Cottrill<br \/>\nCurt Hiser<\/li>\n<li>President<br \/>\nVice President<br \/>\nPast President<br \/>\nTrustee<br \/>\nTrustee<br \/>\nTrustee<br \/>\nTrustee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<ul class=\"meeting_list21\">\n<li><strong>Absent<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Jerry Isbell<br \/>\nRobert Tessman<br \/>\nJim Holt<\/li>\n<li>Trustee<br \/>\nTrustee<br \/>\nTrustee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Discussion: Candidates and Election of Officers for 2011 &#8211; 2012 year terms.<\/h5>\n<p>The \u201cMOVING UP ONE\u201d practice was discussed and will be continued.<br \/>\nCurrent officer and several candidates for any open positions were reviewed.<br \/>\nCurrent officers will be contacted concerning their willingness to continue and then candidates for open positions will be contacted.<br \/>\nThe slate of officers will be finalized and presented to the membership at the April scheduled meeting of the association.<\/p>\n<h5>Discussion: Review of Board of Trustees Structure and Membership<\/h5>\n<p>The number of Trustees and background qualifications and eligibility was reviewed and discussed.  The current membership and candidates for election were discussed.<br \/>\nAny changes will be presented to the membership at the April scheduled meeting of the association.<br \/>\n<strong>Suggestion<\/strong>:  A suggestion was made to elect\/designate a Chair for the<br \/>\nBoard of Trustees to coordinate all activities with the President.<\/p>\n<h5>Discussion: Secretary and Treasurer Responsibilities<\/h5>\n<p>In the past &#8211; because the organization had dues &#8211; the membership rolls were maintained by the Treasurer.  We no longer have dues.<br \/>\nThe Secretary has less volume of work to do.<br \/>\n<strong>Suggestion<\/strong>:  The Secretary to assume maintenance of the Membership Rolls and to act as Chair of a Membership Committee.<\/p>\n<h5>Conclusion<\/h5>\n<p>The above activities will be completed by individual effort and communication.<br \/>\nAn additional meeting will be called if needed.<\/p>\n<p>ROBERT J.
