Mosure, #11, age 63 of Columbus, Ohio \u00a0June 18, 1985 at his residence following a short illness. \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/propilots.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Ted-Mosure.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-794 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/propilots.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Ted-Mosure-257x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"209\" srcset=\"http:\/\/propilots.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Ted-Mosure-257x300.jpg 257w, http:\/\/propilots.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Ted-Mosure-768x898.jpg 768w, http:\/\/propilots.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Ted-Mosure-876x1024.jpg 876w, http:\/\/propilots.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Ted-Mosure.jpg 925w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 179px) 100vw, 179px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Graduate of Grandview High School 1940 and The Ohio State University. \u00a0\u00a0Flew C-47\u2019s for the Army Air Corps 1942-45. First combat action was dropping the Airborne into France on D-Day. \u00a0He participated in Operation Dragoon, the second invasion of France and was involved in Operation Market Garden and resupplying the Battling Bastards of Bastogne during the Bulge. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0After getting his degree in Business he re-enlisted in the Air Force and served during the Korean conflict ending his military career as Captain. <a href=\"http:\/\/propilots.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/vet.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-405 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/propilots.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/vet.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"249\" height=\"47\" \/><\/a>Ted flew professionally for Standard Oil of Ohio, Anchor Hocking Glass, and retired after flying 25 years with Beasley Industries. \u00a0\u00a0Member of the Hilliard Post of American Legion and Moose Post in Hilliard. Earned a certificate acknowledging his status as one of the first ten Master Bush Pilots in Alaska.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Son of Harry Mosure and Hazel E. Anderson. \u00a0Preceded in death by wife, Patricia McNally Mosure 1975. \u00a0Survived by seven children, their spouses and many grandchildren. \u00a0\u00a0Also survived by brother Robert N. Mosure and sister Betty Stevenson both of Columbus.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Ted R.
