MORRISON George Edward Morrison, age 64, of Thornville, OH danced his final earthly dance Friday, November 14, 2008.
Born September 1, 1944 in Dubois, PA to the late George Calhoun and Florence M. (Johnson) Morrison. He is preceded in death by sister Kay Marie Sandilands. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kay Morrison; daughter, Kati Morrison, San Francisco, CA; son, George Clifton (Sarah) Morrison, Delaware, OH; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Jane) Lindemuth, Fredonia, PA and Gary Lindemuth, Reynoldsville, PA; nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
George was an Army Reserves Veteran, and was employed as an Engineering Sales Associate for Petroliance LLC., Groveport, OH. He was a member of: Society of Triboligist Lubrication Engineers; Brockway, PA. Lodge F&AM; Aladdin Shrine Temple, Columbus; AmVets; Society of Mining Engineers and the Desmohio Ducati Club.
Friends and family may visit Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 550 Hill Rd. North (St. Rt. #256), Pickerington, OH 43147, where a celebration of his life service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday. Pastor Gerri Lampton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the James Cancer Hospital, Columbus, Ohio in his memory.
